Logos are not easy. In fact, it’s rare for a group a people to all like one logo. One rarely finds consensus on logo choice, thus you have to allow principles of good design rather than subjective preference to guide your final logo choice. There is far more than color, shapes, and subtle design elements that make the best logo.
I’ve assisted many clients with logos. I’m not a graphic artist but I am a good marketing project manager. A good project manage makes decisions. The choice of the best design is more a decision than anything else. Often your final two or three logos are great and any of the three could work. It ultimately comes down to the final decision, thus the need for the “logo decision dude.” Time must be saved and often the hardest part is just making the final decision. Is it always the perfect logo? No. But you move forward. You ship, so to speak.
